Standing for Truth: Firm in God’s Word

Standing for Truth: Firm in God’s Word

In a world where opinions shift like sand, standing for truth can feel uncomfortable—even lonely. But God calls us to stand firm, not in our own strength, but in His unchanging Word.

Ephesians 6:13 encourages us:

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground…”

Standing for truth isn’t about arguing or condemning—it’s about living out God’s love and refusing to compromise what He’s spoken. Jesus said,

“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” (John 17:17)

When we root ourselves in Scripture, we become steady and unshakable, even when culture pressures us to bend. And just like a well-built foundation holds firm through any storm, God’s truth sustains us through every challenge.

Even if you see things differently, know you’re valued and welcome here—my hope is simply to share the truth that’s changed my life.

Today, let’s choose to stand—graciously, humbly, but unmovably—for the truth that sets us free.

Let’s Pray:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unchanging Word. Give us courage to stand for Your truth with grace and humility. In a time when people can face harsh criticism or rejection for holding different views, strengthen our hearts to remain faithful and loving. Let our lives reflect Your grace so others are drawn to You. Keep us anchored in Scripture, steady and faithful, no matter the storm.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Growing with you, Sandy
